ATS GROUP HISTORY

ATS Group was founded in 2015 with the establishment of ATS San Marino, a Technical Service designated by the Homologation Authority of the Republic of San Marino. Through this designation, Type Approval Certificates are issued for Vehicles, Components, Systems, and Technical Entities under code E57, the UNECE identifier for the Republic of San Marino.

Over the years, ATS San Marino has obtained accreditation from Accredia as an Inspection Body according to UNI CEI EN ISO/IEC 17020:2012, operating in full compliance with the principles of impartiality, independence, and competence. At the same time, the Group achieved ISO 9001:2015 certification, demonstrating the effectiveness of its Quality Management System and its commitment to structured, continuously improving organizational processes. This journey has allowed ATS Group to become a trusted partner for leading automotive manufacturers, providing fast, qualified, and fully compliant services.

The growth of ATS Group has been supported by the creation of an international network of highly qualified inspectors and auditors, continuously trained to stay up-to-date with regulatory and technical developments in the sector.

Starting from 2017, ATS Group began its international expansion, establishing subsidiaries in China, Hong Kong, Brazil, India, and Europe. In particular, ATS Europe, operational since 2019, is accredited as an Inspection Body under UNI CEI EN ISO/IEC 17020:2012, as a Certification Body according to UNI CEI EN ISO/IEC 17021-1:2015, and, since 2025, also as an accredited Laboratory under UNI CEI EN ISO/IEC 17025:2017.

ATS Europe is also designated as a Technical Service by the Type Approval Authority of the Republic of San Marino (E57), the Swedish Transport Agency – Transportstyrelsen (E5/e5), the National Standards Authority of Ireland (E24/e24), by the State Office for Metrology of the Republic of Croatia (DZM) (E25/e25) and by the Ministry of Transport of the Czech Republic (E8/e8).

Thanks to these accreditations, designations, and recognitions, ATS Group provides comprehensive support in Inspection, Laboratory Testing, Type Approval, and Certification of Vehicles, Components, and Systems. Collaborations with international laboratories and test tracks ensure high quality standards and rapid service.

Over time, ATS Group has also become a key reference in professional training through ATS Academy, dedicated to the development of technical and regulatory skills in the Automotive sector.
